Celebrating our freedom this Independence Day
Yesterday, July 4th, was our country’s Independence Day! In 1776 it was the legal separation of the 13 colonies from Great Britain. I hope you had the opportunity to spend some time with family, loved ones and friends! Maybe you had the opportunity to BBQ and even spend some time in the sun. We live in a great country and cherish our freedom! Speaking of freedom – I know you have heard that “freedom isn’t free.” It is NOT! Many men and women since 1776 have given the ultimate sacrifice – to help protect our freedoms. Please consider helping us honor the legacy of America’s fallen and disabled service members through the Folds of Honor.
What you might not know is that Folds of Honor not only helps the children of the fallen and disabled but also helps their spouses with scholarships. Thousands of scholarships are helping the spouses retrain or upgrade their skills so that they can support their families.
Every month here in 2021, I am dedicating one day to playing a 100-hole golf marathon at different golf courses across the country. I recently completed the sixth marathon (I’m now halfway through our year of marathons) and I’m looking forward to my next one here in Houston on July 12th at The Golf Club of Houston.
· Pledge a donation for every hole I complete, or
· Make a single donation of any amount, and
· Spread the word to family, friends and colleagues
Help us honor America’s fallen and disabled service members!
Have a great week! May God Bless The United States of America!
