Holiday Dates and Deadlines
The holiday season and end of 2025 are quickly approaching. To help meet your clients’ service expectations during this busy time, keep in mind the days the carriers will most likely will be closed and or closing early.
- Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27 and 28
- Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 24 and 25
- Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026
Once again, RMD distribution requests should be made by now, if not by Dec. 12th is a good target date.
With most carriers:
- Contributions received on or before December 31, 2025 will be processed as 2025 contributions.
- Contributions received on or after January 1, 2026 (including amounts postmarked in 2025) will be processed as 2026 contributions unless they include either of the following:
- Intended contribution year specified in the memo section on the check.
- Intended contribution year included in the letter of intent.
- If we receive a contribution in 2025 that is properly designated as a 2025 contribution, that designation is final.
- SEP funds are posted for the year in which we receive them.
